2017 La Trucha Albarino Barrica, Rias Baixas
Complex aromas of biscuit, caramel and butterscotch. The palate is creamy and broad with well-integrated smoky oak and lively acidity. Long, layered finish.

This is full and peachy and spicy and gorgeous. Peaches dipped in saffron syrup with a touch of ground ginger, honeysuckle, quinine and matcha powder. Masses of undertow that builds in the mouth, fans out. Long and curved. Glossy and sinuous, texture of silk. Stunning. Worth every penny.
