This 3900 hectare district is centred on Langenlois and makes some of the most concentrated Gruner-Veltliners and finest powerful Rieslings in the country. With the Danube running through the heart of the district, it has hot summers and cold winters and the wines here rival those of the Wachau as the country’s finest.
