2020 Bourgogne Pinot Noir 47N, Marchand-Tawse
The 2020 Bourgogne Rouge 47°N is quite deep in colour. It has quite a northern Côte de Nuits-like nose thanks to the contribution from Marsannay fruit. The 10% new barrel just gives it a pleasant sheen. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grip, quite a good backbone to this wine with a slightly chalky finish. It will actually deserve 12-18 months in bottle.
