Vinous
The 2019 Mokoroa is a blend of five varieties that are more commonly associated with Bordeaux reds. Mokoroa is Puriri Hills’ more approachable in youth style, with its soft mid-palate and succulent tannins. The use of oak is well judged, adding a light vanillin element to the dark fruit and violet characters. There’s a hint of alcoholic heat on the finish.
