Vinous
The Sangiovese-driven 2020 Montefalco Rosso is a dynamic blend of 70% Sangiovese, 15% Montepulciano and 15% Sagrantino. It lifts up with dusty rose and dried strawberries contrasted by hints of worn leather. The palate is silky and supple with ripe red and blue fruits underscored by saline minerals and spice. Its acidity pops through the finale, adding further energy as violet inner florals and hints of licorice fade.
