2019 Barolo, Ciabot Berton, Az. Agr. Marco Oberto (Half Bottle)
Deep ruby red colour with hints of brick. The nose is full and rich with aromas of cherry, raspberry, woodsmoke and plums. The palate is full and intense, with dark fruits, savoury forest floor notes and very full, but ripe tannins.

Vinous
The 2019 Barolo 1961 is a potent, imposing wine. There’s terrific depth to the fruit, while the tannins, once so penalizing here, are present but nicely woven into the wine’s fabric. Iron, white pepper, dried red cherry, spice and tobacco lend notable character throughout.
