Having added an array of new producers last year (enough to warrant a whole tasting!) we’re excited to have more new wines this year.
From our heartland in Italy, legendary Barbaresco producer Paitin has joined us with a delectable selection of Barbarescos, but don’t overlook their Freisa, the up-and-coming red indigenous variety that’s got the Piedmontese excited, it’s a stunner. We’ve also added some new wines from our Tuscan friends Bakkanali (recently dubbed “The mavericks of Monte Amiata” by Walter Speller) and Podere le Ripi which will make you question everything you thought you knew about Tuscan Wine.
Further afield, we have another new producer from California we cannot wait to introduce you to – Marine Layer. Focusing solely on the Sonoma Coast AVA these are some seriously classy wines that have been named “one of the most fascinating new projects in Sonoma” by Antonio Galloni.
Not ones to rest on their laurels, Achaval Ferrer have also introduced three new wines, including their first white wines and a smashy little number called Quimerino Tinto which is well worth a look at.
Whatever your poison, we’re confident we’ve got a wine to suit your needs. From our enviable selection of classic Bordeaux and Burgundy – with an ever-evolving monthly fine wine selection – to some left-of-the-centre wines you might not expect to find in our list.
We look forward to working together in the months ahead!
