Castelfeder

The Castelfeder estate is based in the southern part of Alto Adige, with all of their vineyards below Bolzano. Founded in 1970 by Alfons Giovanett, the winery expanded greatly when his son Günther took over in 1989. He has now been joined by his children, Ivan – a trained oenologist – and Ines. The production continues to expand as they enter new collaborations with other local growers: Castelfeder own 60 hectares of vineyards and produce a huge range of 26 wines from 11 different grape varieties and it is a testament to Ivan and Günther’s skills that the quality is exemplary across the board.
