The Wharie Experience
Established in 2020 by Guillaume Lagger, a Swiss oenologist with a passion for wine, cider, beer and mead production. The Wharie Experience is a micro winery producing wines with minimal intervention to display the best that Hampshire can offer. Guillaume doesn’t shackle himself by sticking to the norms and hopes to surprise you with each cuvée. These first wines are produced using grapes sourced from his neighbours vineyards while Guillaume nurtures the 7,500 vines he’s planted using PIWI hybrids. The White is a blend of 50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Gris and 25% Bacchus.
