2018 Old Vine Zinfandel, Lodi, Ironstone Vineyards, California

Bright ruby colour with garnet tints. The nose is very ripe and deep, with aromas of blackberry, liquorice and raisins, with a hint of peppery spice. The palate is medium to full bodied with layer upon layer of plum, raspberry, sultana and prune flavours, backed by smoky spice and hints of chocolate. Long and smooth on the warm finish.
