2019 Barolo, ‘Roggeri’, Ciabot Berton, Azienda Agricola Marco Oberto
Beautiful in the glass, limpid yet intense, the nose shows elegant red fruits backed by a hint of spice and blood orange. The palate is deceptively powerful, wrapped as it is with silky tannins and blessed of a creamy texture. Full but fine tannins. 2026 - 2035

Vinous
The 2019 Barolo Roggeri is a deep, expressive offering from Ciabot Berton. Black cherry, menthol, licorice, spice and mocha lend notable intensity and virile character to this somber La Morra Barolo. The Roggeri is the darkest and most structured of the wines in this range, yet its balance of fruit, acid and tannin is very nicely measured.
