The 2019 Carménère Massal 1945 is made with grapes from Almahue in the Rapel Valley and is mixed with 5% Syrah before barrel aging. Purplish red in the glass. The nose presents notes of herb, green pepper, white pepper and blackberry. The palate is juicy and indulgent in the traditional style with a ripe, fruity finish tickled a little by grippy tannins.
