2020 Corton Charlemagne, Grand Cru, Domaine Antonin Guyon
An 0.85-hectare blend of two parcels, with one parcel on the cooler Ladoix side and the majority of the blend coming from the warmer Le Charlemagne - close to Bonneau-du-Martray. Like their Clos du Roy, the domaine are using horses in Corton-Charlemagne to limit their impact on the terroir. Domaine Antonin Guyon make in our opinion one of the most classic expressions of the terroir, and certainly one of the best values. The Ladoix side adds freshness, tempering the orchard and stone fruits from Le Charlemagne. Drink 2025-2040
