The 2023 Chablis Village has a simple, slightly plain bouquet with apple peelings and loamy scents, but overall, it lacks some vigor. The palate is slightly waxy on the entry and has a modest weight. The 2023 is pretty pithy, and a bit of extract imparts more complexity on the finish. Overall, this is a decent Chablis Village. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis.
