New South Wales

Historically, quality wine from New South Wales was limited to Hunter Valley Shiraz and Semillon. Cabernet has shown promise in some sites in the Hunter whilst Mudgee, Orange and Cowra are becoming more widely known for deep bold reds. Riverina is also in NSW and along with Murray Darling in South Australia produces the country’s bulk wines.
